The AgriForValor H2020 project has just launched a national call for applications for the ‘Bio- Enterprise Academy’, an intensive support program for researchers and entrepreneurs.

The Academy is designed for innovators with cutting edge ideas, solutions & technologies for the valorisation of biomass & biomass sidestreams from the agri & forestry sectors.

The highest potential innovations will be selected to join the program which will run (in Ireland) from November 2017 – February 2018.

Participants will get €5000 worth of fully funded, specialist training and mentoring to enable them to take next steps towards commercialising their bio-based innovation, in addition to the opportunity to attend site missions to state-of-the-art on biobased enterprises in the Netherlands in Spring 2018.

An award for the ‘Best Business Model’ at the end of the academy will be presented to one winner at the international AgriForValor conference in August 2018.

Attached is a flyer detailing the academy as well as the application form. Applications should be returned by email to cliodhna.dowling@staff.ittralee.ie no later than 29.09.2017.
